Why up your LinkedIn Game?

I’ve been using LinkedIn for my business for 5 years now and many of my clients have come through it, either directly or via referrals.

I’ve also used LinkedIn to keep in touch and nurture relationships with people who I’ve met at networking events, past jobs and other situations. They may not need a VA (or know someone who does) straight away when I meet them, but keeping connected means that I can be front of mind once they do!

I no longer find attending networking events a necessity – merely something I’ll do whenever I feel like attending for the social and learning aspects. If I get any work from them, then it’s just a bonus, but I don’t rely on them for gaining business like I do on LinkedIn.

FAQ

Can't I just figure LinkedIn out myself?

Technically, yes, you can. However, paying for my help will get you moving along more quickly than just struggling by yourself. You can go read loads of blogs and do many free courses and challenges, but they’re probably not going to be personalised to your business like my power session will be. You can work with me one-on-one to bounce your ideas off of. Plus, the accountability can help motivate you more than you just doing it all yourself.

Will your session teach me everything I need to know about LinkedIn?

The purpose of this service is to provide you a foundation to build upon, equip you with tools and get you confident in starting to use LinkedIn to grow your business and network. So short answer – no, you probably won’t learn everything about LinkedIn in just two hours. Heck, even I don’t know everything, and LinkedIn is always updating and changing. However, you will certainly learn enough to get you past the “How the heck do I use LinkedIn?!” phase.

I'm a very busy person - do I really have time for LinkedIn?

Is your time being filled with client work, or activities that are gaining you clients? No? Then you should put some time aside to use LinkedIn to help you gain clients. You can literally be using LinkedIn whilst sitting on the toilet or queueing at the shops, so there’s no real excuse! Once you know what you’re doing, you only need a few minutes a day minimum to make it work.

Isn't LinkedIn just a really stuffy place?

Yes and no. LinkedIn is massive! There is content for everyone – you just have to know where to find it and how to curate your feed to see what you want. There are literally millions of members, so you should be able to find your tribe on there. As they say – your vibe attracts your tribe. I’ll help you with this, as well as creating your own content that isn’t stuffy.

Is my ideal client even on LinkedIn?

Unless your niche is in a particular industry that may be better suited to finding them in other ways, the likelihood of your ideal client being on LinkedIn is pretty high. It’s a business-to-business platform, so people are on there to do business with each other. You just need to know the right ways to attract them to do it with you. Even if they are not using it regularly, there are ways that you can still catch their attention, which I’ll show you.

Is this service only for Virtual Assistants?

Nope! I do market primarily to VAs as they are my expertise. However, most of what I teach can also apply to other types of industries and professionals, like coaches, consultants, creatives and social entrepreneurs. I’ve helped clients that aren’t VAs to improve their LinkedIn content. Do I need to do anything to prepare for the session?

Not much. Just have a think about what you want from this session. All you have to do when booking is fill in my short questionnaire to help me know what your goals are for the session before we start.

Will I get a recording of the session?

I don’t typically record the sessions because I write notes during and create a report of what we discussed and all my recommendations for you. However, if you would like a recording, just let me know before our session and I’ll be sure to do that and send you the recording afterwards.
